We are looking for an exceptional and experienced Consumer PR Account Manager who has amazing agency experienceto join our client’s  fast-paced and wonderful team. They are hybrid working – three days in the office and two days at home, so you get the best of both, and they have 4.30 finishes on a Friday

The successful candidate will be a crucial member of the team, managing brand new and existing accounts. You will work across a range of exciting consumer accounts, from start-ups and food boards to big name brands and will be offered lots of room for growth and development.

Salary and benefits

Circ. £34k salary (dependent on experience) and 23 days annual leave a year, with 3 extra days leave between Christmas and New Year

About you

We are looking for someone with exceptional consumer PR experience having worked in a PR agency. A strong track record in media relations is important. We are looking for a highly ambitious candidate who has a passion for consumer brands, a love of developing and nurturing media relations and who can hit the ground running – leading accounts, managing juniors and getting first class coverage.

You will be responsible for:

· Account performance, goals, KPIs, outcomes and client communications for owned accounts

· Implementing strategy

· Creating and managing press office activity and bigger campaigns

· Overseeing copywriting of consumer and trade media materials

· Mentoring junior members

· Overseeing reporting both internally and externally

· Financial management encompassing day-to-day finance processes and development of all project and retainer budgets and management of forecasts

· Ensuring the commercial success of your accounts

We are looking for someone with:

· Experience in consumer PR is essential

· Experience of working in a PR agency setting is preferred

· Strong media relations skills are a must

· Experience of working on integrated campaigns, managing experiential activity and working closely with digital and design teams

· Excellent media and influencer knowledge

· Exceptional experience of delivering first class coverage

· A can-do attitude – from proactively suggesting campaign ideas, to seeking out new business opportunities

· Strong presentation skills

· Experience working in a fast-paced environment

· The ability to multi-task, work well within a team and under pressure

· A keen attention to detail, and excellent written English and grammar

· A hunger to develop, learn and progress
