We are looking for a non-traditional programme manager, specifically 60% organising/PM skills with 40% understanding of content and how change/leadership/talent programmes actually work.Track record of managing ‘people’ programmes, as opposed to programmes not involving people change, is very important.
The role would suit someone who is highly driven, with exceptional organisational skills and for whom attention to detail is second nature. You will need to have high adaptability, flexing in the moment to meet the changing needs of the client, whilst ensuring solution deadlines are also met. You will need to be able to deal with complexity and competing commitments, whilst making it easy and fun for all involved. Everything we do is bespoke, so whilst there is an element of routine, often there is no road map for what needs to be done.
A positive can-do attitude is a must, with a love of teaming as well as an ability to work autonomously. You will need to be a fast learner and socially adept, specifically with high emotional intelligence. Due to the nature of the role, and the need to brief teams in person, it is office based from 09.00-17.30hrs each day. The role will also involve some time with clients (mostly UK, but potentially sometimes international travel), and like all project management roles the requirement to sometimes progress emails and phone calls in the evenings during critical weeks of the project lifecycle, to keep things moving and be ahead and ready to direct the rest of the team with actions.
