Our client is a fast paced financial services PR agency. The team needs to hire an Account Executive/Junior Account Executive with some PR experience and an interest in financial services.
There is a really interesting and mixed client list for the successful candidate to work on from day one.

Specific responsibilities
Account Planning and Management
- Responsibility for driving implementation of agreed client programmes/ work
- Project planning and development of critical paths and timetables for all client work
- Oversee preparations for account meetings and ensure account team, including Director, is fully prepared for these
- Produce/ review written materials, including briefing documents and client memorandum, ensuring they are delivered to an excellent standard
- Regular creative input to account work, including identifying and generating opportunities for promoting account objectives
- Contribute to strategic discussions about client accounts
- Lead and contribute strongly in meetings, with ideas and input across all activity
- Support Director and Account Director in acting as Consultant to client, giving strong advice and input
- Assist Account Director in developing budgets for client programmes and have regard to these in implementing account programmes
- Manage junior members of account team
- Manage and delegate work in a timely fashion
- Assume Account Directors’ responsibilities in their absence/ unavailability
Media Relations
- Oversee and implement media relations’ activity, including timings, distribution lists, methods of distribution
- Develop media strategies for clients’ interests
- Monitor media for relevant client coverage and potential opportunities for clients across the team
- Circulate relevant sector intelligence to team
- Manage collation of all coverage, evaluation and presentation to client
- Oversee / produce client related materials, e.g. press releases, reports etc and ensure they are delivered to an excellent standard
- Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, suppliers and key stakeholders
- Strong media handling skills, including supporting crisis communications work
- Identify media opportunities for further client work
Event Management
- Design, plan and manage client events, including press conferences, dinners, seminars, receptions etc
- Develop and implement PR plans to maximise value of client events
Social media
- Be actively involved in building understanding of social media
- Provide creative input into how social media could be leveraged for client activity
- Build your professional social media presence
